The PADS software covers all aspects of a public display system:

Design :
PADS allows you to create presentations with any type of content. You can have simple text messages to inform your public, but it is also possible to include information from the Web or build complete multimedia presentations that use macromedia flash, video, sound or even TV.
One powerful aspect of PADS is that you can include real-time data in your presentations from almost any possible data source. With some simple mouse clicks you can bind your presentation for instance to your corporate database and automatically the PADS system will always display up-to-date information.
Schedule :
With PADS you are completely free to decide where and when you want to display the presentations you have designed. Presentations can be scheduled once or with recurrence for individual displays, but also at once for an entire group of displays. The scheduling as well as the displayed content can be adjusted at any time.
Distribution :
The PADS system automatically handles the distribution of the scheduled presentations to the displays. In fact there are no limitations to this. Presentations can be distributed over your LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), Intranet or the Internet. Wireless connections are also supported. Besides the presentation itself, the system can also automatically distribute the content files that are related to the presentation (like pictures, videos, etc.).
When the presentation needs to display real-time information, then the PADS system will also take care of collecting the actual data from the specified data source and distribute it automatically to the displays.
Display :
In most situations the PADS software will be used to display information on plasmas, TFTs or other VGA-compatible displays. However, it is also possible to connect other types of displays to the system like TVs, projectors i.e. LEDs, LCDs, DLP or split-flap boards. The PADS software can even be used to drive a video wall or a kiosk with a touch screen.
